Alison Gannett signs on to host Women’s Skills Clinic

Thanks to Specialized, we’re pleased to welcome Alison Gannett to Dirt Fest to teach ladies new mountain bike skills in a safe and supportive environment. Gannett is a World Champion Extreme FreeSkier, a National Geographic Women Adventurer of the Year, and founder multiple non-profits including the Save Our Snow Foundation. In addition to her busy careers as an athlete and her keynote speaking work, she runs KEEN Rippin’ Chix – a series women’s steep skiing, biking and surf camps around the globe.

Always an advocate of walking the talk and becoming more sustainable, she has cut her carbon footprint in half, including growing and raising almost all her own food on Holy Terror Farm in Paonia.

Gents, don’t feel left out. We’ll have a co-ed skills clinic hosted by Harlan Price of Take Aim Cycling.

When you will open registration for the clinics? I want to make sure I don’t miss out this year.

Good questions Steve. As of right now there is no sign-up for the clinics. They are first-come first serve. We’ll have the schedule ready soon, but just plan on being there a few minutes early.

If that changes, we’ll be sure to let everyone know.
