If my friends/family are sharing a campsite or sharing tent do we all have to purchase an "Event Pass with Onsite Camping?
If you are sleeping on the Susquehannock Penninsula or onsite camping area, we ask that you purchase an onsite camping pass to help us cover the event costs. This includes; sharing a tent with a friend, sleeping on a camp table, using a hammock, etc.
Is this a rain or shine event?
Indeed. The trails hold up remarkably well. In 2016 we had three inches of rain in 24 hours and folks were still able to rip! However, in the event of a massive amount of rain, exhibitors reserve the right to not demo bikes.
Why don't you hold Dirt Fest in the summer or fall?
The campgrounds normally open on Memorial Day Weekend. We have a special permit with the Army Corps of Engineers to host our event when the campground is closed so that we can have the entire Susquehannock Peninsula for ourselves.
How Does Dirt Fest support the trails?
Dirt Fest has donated over $80K to the trails over the past eight years, which keeps them open and maintained.
Can I camp in my RV or Camper Trailer?
Sorry, you cannot camp on the Susquehannock Penninsula with an RV or Camper Trailer. The closest facility is Seven Points Campground. There is limited shuttle service from Seven Points to the expo area or you can ride the trails.

Can I reserve a demo bike ahead of time?
You can't reserve bikes but feel free to talk with the demo bike staff.
